Gasworks Park - join us for a picnic Sunday after the wedding for good eats and a great view of downtown across Lake Union
Greenlake - take a walk or jog around this small lake. Other activities include renting paddle boats, paddle boards, small sail boats and even a chip-n-putt golf course
Fremont Peak Park - the small neighborhood park where we got engaged! Great view at sunset.

Peter Miller Books - excellent design and architecture book store
Seattle Underground Tour - learn about Seattle's interesting, sometimes seedy, past that lives below street level in Pioneer Square.
Pioneer Square Neighborhood - historic 1st neighborhood where we both work
Seattle Art Museum (SAM) - great permanent collection with a great gift shop as well. Our favorite exhibit is the Aboriginal wing.
Seattle Central Library - a contemporary landmark building designed by Rem Koolhaas and OMA - a wonderful place to explore
Water Taxi to West Seattle and Alki Beach - take the water taxi, then rent a bike to see the most LA-like beach in town
Ferry ride to Bainbridge Island - get on the waters of the Puget Sound by crossing Elliot Bay to explore quaint Bainbridge village
Center for Wooden Boats – free sailing on Sunday. Show up at 10am to reserve your spot on their fleet.
Fremont Ice Cream Cruise - relax while cruising on a quirky ride around Lake Union
Discovery Park - Hike in the city at this beautiful state park. Great views of Mt. Rainier await on the beach by the lighthouse.
Arboretum & Japanese Gardens - Wander around the beautiful gardens
Agua Verde or Northwest Outdoor Center - explore Lake Union on a kayak or paddle board (make sure to make a reservation ahead of time)

Salumi - famous Italian sandwiches owned by Mario Batali's dad. Only open Tue-Fri at lunch and be prepared to wait in line - the Porchetta sandwich is a must.
